I am a postdoctoral scholar in the Carolina Population Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

My research focuses on wellbeing among immigrant communities under emerging health threats. In addition, my work examines the intersections of race and inequality in Latin America.

My work is published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), Oxford Open Economics, OMEGA – Journal of Death and Dying, and The Clinical Teacher.
